Your member data should have a clear purpose.
Aurora Paw Studio uses limited account data to provide the member identity and preferences shown in the member area. This page explains the current site-level approach in plain language.
Information used for member features
Member features may store information you provide such as email address, display/name fields, pet name, pet type, relationship label and email preferences. The member service uses an account database to support registration, sign-in and profile management.
Sessions and cookies
The member area uses a session cookie so you can remain signed in. Authentication cookies should be protected with appropriate browser security controls, and account pages are not intended to be indexed as public search content.
Why the information is used
Account data is used to operate sign-in, show your member identity, save profile preferences and process account controls. We do not use a pet profile as veterinary data.
Account deletion
Where the member interface provides deletion controls, you can use them to request removal of the member account and associated profile data. Operational backups may retain data for a limited period before normal rotation completes.
Email preferences
If you opt in to guide or deal emails, that preference should be stored separately from the core ability to use the site. You can change the preference in the member area when the control is available.
Third-party and affiliate links
Links to merchants or other external sites are governed by those sites' privacy practices. Affiliate relationships, when present, are disclosed separately from the member account.
Changes
This privacy notice is updated when the member system or data uses materially change.
