Switch off and disconnect the machine as instructed before maintenance. Keep pets away from removed hair, sharp debris and small machine components.

Start with the waste container

Empty or replace the bag according to its limit and inspect the inlet for trapped material. Avoid packing debris down to create space. Clean the bin only by the permitted method and make sure it is ready for reassembly before operating the machine again.

Inspect the roller and air path

Remove wrapped hair using the approved access method. Keep cutting tools away from belts, bristles and wiring. Check detachable hoses and tools for obstructions without forcing sharp objects through them. Refit the roller and its cover correctly; a loose cover can create a new problem.

Treat filters according to their labels

Some filters are washable and others are not. Follow the exact instructions for cleaning, replacement and drying. Do not reinstall damp filters or run the machine without required components. Keep the correct part number with the maintenance supplies so a similar-looking substitute is not fitted by mistake.

Check the result and stop for faults

After reassembly, test the machine briefly in a suitable clear area. Persistent overheating, a burning smell or abnormal noise needs the manufacturer’s troubleshooting or service process. Do not repeatedly restart a machine that shuts itself down. Record the maintenance date and order consumables before the last usable spare is gone.
